The full 16 cell culture test menu includes Glucose, Lactate, Glutamine, Glutamate, Ammonium, Sodium, Potassium, ionized Calcium, pH, pCO2, pO2, total cell density, viable cell density, viability, cell diameter and osmolality.
Maintenance-free Mircosensor Cards
Utilizing Nova’s maintenance-free MicroSensor Card technology eliminates any electrode maintenance work. All biosensors are combined in the credit card sized MicroSensor Card, which are replaceable within a few seconds.
Reduced sample volume and fast analysis time
A complete test profile with all 16 parameters takes 4 minutes and requires only 265 µL of sample. Individual test profiles (such as pH, Gas/Chemistry) require only 120 µL sample and complete in 2 minutes analysis time. Compared to the previous model, with FLEX2 the required sample volume was reduced by 75% and at the same time test results are available 2 minutes quicker.
Onboard automated quality control
Automated onboard quality controls save hours of labor each week compared to manual control testing, using several levels of control ampules. The liquid quality controls of the FLEX2 are provided in closed, chip-coded cartridges, which can be used up to 30 days and run automatically at user-selected intervals.
Automated, 96-well plate analysis
In addition to sampling from syringes and its load-and-go tray, FLEX2 is the only cell culture chemistry analyzer to offer automated sampling from 96-well plates. Plate configurations with mixed test panels may be saved for efficient loading of future plates with the same configuration.
Ideal for GMP Areas
The user-friendly software is fully compliant with 21 CFR Part 11. The persistence of this conformity is being maintained by the manufacturer through the usage of state-of-the-art technology and by providing continuous updates. This makes the FLEX2 the ideal analyzing system for GMP areas.
